Multi instrumentalist was born in Quito in 1973. At the age of 18, he traveled to the United States where he settled and formed part of recognized folk groups such as Fortaleza de Bolivia, Sol y Canto,
Guamary from Chile, Wayanay Inca from Peru, Yarina and Inca Sapi from Ecuador with whom he performs concerts at festivals, theaters and educational workshops on Andean culture in schools and universities. Founder of the group ZURKO with 4 record productions and tours throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. He studied classical guitar in Texas and has a Bachelor of Arts degree. Winner of the best guitarist award in the acoustic guitars category at the GUITAR WARS contest, Texas in 2000. He worked with Andean music at Animal Kingdom (Disney World) in 2006 and 2007.

He collaborated in record productions, concerts and tours with artists such as Cristian Castro from Mexico, Alberto Plaza from Chile, Manuel Monrroy El Papirri from Bolivia, Julio Revueltas from Mexico, Paulina Aguirre, Ricardo Perotti, Karla Kanora, La Grupa, Pablo Noboa de la Pandilla , Juan Carlos Terán, Nicola Cruz, Los Hijos del Padre Almeida, Zixe, Druida Ensamble Celta, Las Tres Marías, Jammin'Go, Afroponcho , among others from Ecuador. He has traveled to Singapore, South Korea, China, the US, Brazil, Argentina and Chile as a cultural representative of Ecuador through the Ministry of Tourism. In South Korea, he received the award for the best folkloric presentation at the 2012 Seoul Tourism Festival together with the 4 Worlds ensemble. He participated in Cuba Discos with FULL MOON'S SPELL , Hechizo de Luna Llena in 2012, one of his most important record works where his exploration of world music and jazz stands out. He has served as a teacher at the Mozarte Conservatory and music academies in Quito.
