In the songs, they bring poetry in Portuguese from the Afro-Brazilian universe,

as well as the Hispanic. Where enchanted beings, nature, the Orixás, love, walkers, converse in both languages.

Rhythms like Ijexá del Candomblé,

Andarele , Cumbia , Reggae , among others,

converge with Andean Beats and textures, resulting in a musical proposal that honors cultural references

that build the South American identity .

  Afroponcho is born from the meeting of musicians

from Brazil and Ecuador , which join rhythms

Afro-Brazilian , Pacific and

Andean sounds.

The project also brings artistic collaborations and various audiovisual content that were shot in its musical route by

Ecuador , Brazil , Cape Verde and Morocco .

The group was formed following the meeting that Steven Dagenais led between Brazilians Eduardo Escariz   - composer and audiovisual producer- and Pablinho B ,

musician-producer.
